Katie Pankow

Katie Pankow came to Alaska for “just one summer” in 2019 and quickly fell in love with the stunning scenery and the tight-knit communities of people who live here. She made Talkeetna her home in 2021 and now works as a Program Manager at Denali Education Center, where she helps design and run Road Scholar Learning Vacations, offering unique educational experiences for travelers.

With a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Florida, Katie spent a decade working as a professional stage actress. Deeply passionate about arts education, Katie co-founded and co-directs Made for the Stage at Denali Arts Council, a program designed to help local youth explore and develop their creative talents.
