Join Lightwire Theater for an engaging and interactive workshop that brings the classic tale of The Tortoise & The Hare into the modern age! First, kids will hear both the original story and Lightwire’s re-imagined “Next Gen” version where the Tortoise and Hare’s children face the distractions of modern technology.

Next, experience the magic of Lightwire’s signature puppetry with a live demonstration! Using everyday household and hardware store items, these glowing puppets come to life in a unique, low-light performance.

Finally, kids will get hands-on with their own puppet making project! Using simple materials like pipe cleaners and paper towel rolls – plus, glow in the dark tape to add a special glow! Participants will create their very own  puppets to take home.

This workshop will take approximately 1 hour.

A perfect blend of storytelling, creativity, and technology—this workshop is an unforgettable experience for young artists and dreamers!
