Location: Talkeetna Village Park

Join us for free, family-friendly concerts every Friday from 5-7 pm at the Talkeetna Village Park. Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket and enjoy the music of talented performers from Alaska and the lower 48. This program, known as “Live at Five,” runs throughout the summer, from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend.

The 4th Annual Talkeetna Art Festival is returning Memorial Day weekend — and this year, it’s bigger and better than ever. Held on Saturday and Sunday, May 24th and 25th, in downtown Talkeetna, the festival will once again take over the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar with a vibrant celebration of art, creativity, and community.

We invite the community bring a meal to share in our community pot-luck, share stories of Don and enjoy live music from Alaska Main Squeeze, the premier Alaskan Polka Band!

Join Talkeetna’s Roger Robinson as he recounts his 1975 climb of Denali’s remote South Buttress—a journey that launched his 45-year career in the Alaska Range. The talk includes rare photos and audio from the original 1954 ascent and rescue, Denali’s first helicopter evacuation. This is a tribute to Denali’s volunteer rescue legacy and a fundraising event for Denali Rescue Volunteers. Door Prizes! Suggested Donation $10
