Art Workshops with Denise Iacovone

Professional teaching artist, Denise Iacovone will be offering 3 art workshops this summer!

Workshop 1: Contour Line Drawing Workshop is a two day workshop. Participants will learn how to work in contour line, creating multiple experimental drawings in a studio setting. This two day workshop will be on Friday, June 26th and Monday, June 29th from 4:30pm to 7:30pm at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar. All supplies will be provided. The fee for this workshop is $55

Workshop 2: Improvisational painting and music: making the invisible, visible is a two day workshop. Participants will learn how to listen, identify and express live music, using watercolors and colored pencils. We will strive to capture the essence of the music as we work with the Talkeetna Jazz Orchestra during dress rehearsal and their concert performance. This two day workshop will be on July 1, 4:30pm-7:30pm and July 2, 6pm-9pm. All supplies will be provided. The fee for this workshop is $55.

Workshop 3: Paint and Sip Masterclass. Painters will learn about this masterful living artist, see her work, and be inspired by one of two McGrath still lives of their choice. No experience necessary, and Denise Iacovone will guide you through every step! All materials provided. You are welcome to bring your own snacks, beverages will be available for purchase. Friday, July 3rd from 6pm to 9pm. You will choose one of two McGraths to work on. The fee for this masterclass is $35.00
