Art Workshops with Denise Iacovone

Professional teaching artist, Denise Iacovone will be offering 3 art workshops this summer!

Workshop 1: Contour Line Drawing Workshop is a two-day workshop. Participants will learn how to work in contour line, creating multiple experimental drawings in a studio setting. This two-day workshop will be held on Friday, June 26th, and Monday, June 29th, from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar. All supplies will be provided. The fee for this workshop is $55

Workshop 2: Improvisational Painting and Music: Making the Invisible Visible is a two-day workshop. Led by professional artist Denise Iacovone, participants will learn how to listen to, identify, and express live music using watercolors and colored pencils. We will strive to capture the essence of the music as we work with the Talkeetna Jazz Orchestra during dress rehearsal and their concert performance. Two-Day Workshop July 1, 4:30 pm- 7:30 pm and July 2, 6 pm- 9 pm

Workshop 3:Paint and Sip Master Class. Painters will learn about this masterful living artist, see her work, and be inspired by one of two McGrath still lives of their choice. No experience necessary, and Denise Iacovone will guide you through every step! All materials provided. You are welcome to bring your own snacks; beverages will be available for purchase. You will choose one of these two McGraths to work on. Let us know which when you register, so Denise can prepare. This workshop is on July 3, 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
