BANFF MOUNTAIN FILM FESTIVAL
Get off the beaten path and push the edge of the believable with captivating stories from the 50th Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival, coming to the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar.
We’ll be hosting two separate film screenings on Friday and Saturday, April 10 & 11.

Join us for the inaugural BANFF Film Festival Marketplace & Mini Beer Festival in Talkeetna! Hosted by the Denali Arts Council in collaboration with the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge, the Talkeetna Chamber and Mat-Su CVB, this exciting new event brings the world-renowned BANFF Mountain Film Festival spirit to the Mat-Su Valley.
Marketplace will be from 12pm to 5pm. This event is free and family friendly!
There will be a variety of Vendors, breweries, snow tubing, and saunas to warm up in!
Live Music featuring the Jerry Wessling Band!

MINI BEER BEST
Celebrate the spirit of artisan craft beer and the creativity and entrepreneurship of the Mat-Su Valley by being part of our inaugural Banff Film Festival Marketplace and Mini Beer Fest. Featuring Mat-Su vendors and local breweries, this event highlights the region’s handcrafted goods, unique flavors, and vibrant entrepreneurial community while offering attendees a chance to explore the marketplace and experience the best of local craft.
Entering the mini beer fest is free! 10oz Mug with 4 drink tokens is $20. Each additional token is $4.

SOGGY SNEAKER 5K
Support the arts by participating in the Soggy Sneaker 5K Run. Part of the Banff Film Festival festivities on Saturday, April 11, the Soggy Sneaker is a fundraiser for the Denali Arts Council. The run will start at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar at 12 pm, wind through some soggy spring snow along the Chase Trail, and finish at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge and the Film Festival Marketplace. Stick around after the race to enjoy vendors, a mini beer fest, music, and snow tubing.
