Debbie Norden (Whitecar)

I studied Visual Communications/Graphic Design and Photography in Germany. I’ve been self-employed for most of my career as a graphic designer, but have also worked as an in-house art director for a non-profit organization, Alaska Geographic, for almost a decade. In that role, I supported the different departments with visuals. The knowledge and insights I gained about fundraising, member and donor relationships, and the development of youth programs, are now put to use as a Denali Arts Council board member.

Talkeetna is my home since 2002. My daughter and my son have participated in Green Light Circus, Seussical the Musical, Live at 5, Complexities of Love, Youth Jam…

I have served as a Denali Arts Council board member before for two terms between 2015 and 2019.
