Talkeetna is proud to host the 4th Annual Talkeetna Ice Festival! This collaborative event kicks off end of January with the start of the Ice Carving Competition and runs through the beginning of February. A family-friendly winter festival, mostly free.

Denali Arts Council and Green Light Circus present: a Circus Sunday! With three options to choose from, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The second of 5 scheduled monthly workshops between January and May, February 8th will feature aerial lyra workshops followed by open juggling at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar. Space is limited in the aerial workshops and pre-registration is highly recommended.

Talkeetna’s most-loved variety show, Complexities of Love, is right around the corner. If you have a talent you’d like to share—dance, music, singing, comedy, poetry, puppetry, or anything else—we’d love to hear from you.
Embodying the vibrant Chicago music culture, LowDown Brass Band is a one-of-a-kind horn ensemble weaving the rhythm of the streets with conscious hip hop, reggae, and soul. Rigorously touring, LowDown has performed on the most unique stages, from the Montreal Jazz Fest to the Cotai Jazz Fest. We are excited to welcome them back to Talkeetna!
This 6 hour workshop will be instructed by Debra Whaley. Debra has been a stained glass artist for 45 years. Participants will be able to choose between 5 different designs. All materials will be provided and participants will be able to take a completed stained glass project home.

Denali Arts Council is seeking spirit lovers to join us for our 4th annual “Raising Spirits”. This is a fundraising event for DAC and the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar.
This is the third year of a festival that Northern Aspects pledges to hold for a minimum of five years, and hopefully for many decades to come. Their goal is to increase stoke and build community - Alaskans supporting Alaskans.
