Join us for free, family-friendly concerts every Friday from 5-7 pm at the Talkeetna Village Park. Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket and enjoy the music of talented performers from Alaska and the lower 48. Paint outside with England-born avid painter, Miles Broomsfield! This class will meet every other Monday, June 16th through August 25th. Rocco returns to Talkeetna to once again share his love of music and art with the Northern Susitna Valley. This is an opportunity for anyone who loves playing music. Whether you are paper trained or don’t read music at all, you will learn to listen, respond, and gel with your fellow jazz orchestra players and the result will be a bigger and better musical toolbox for you to take into the future.
Join us to tap into your creativity, exercise your problem-solving skills, and just have fun! This is NOT a traditional "how to draw" workshop, but a two-day "how to think outside the box" workshop, led by NYC and international improvisational "Live Art" painter and Master Teacher, Denise Iocavone.
