Chris Funk – October 14, 2026

Chris Funk isn’t your average magician, and REDEFINING WONDER definitely isn’t your average magic show.
Think mind-bending magic meets live music, multimedia, and a whole lot of wait…how did he DO that?! Chris mixes jaw-dropping illusions with live violin, guitar loops created right onstage, interactive video, and a live-feed camera that pulls the audience right into the action.
And he’s got the résumé to back up the magic. Chris has appeared on America’s Got Talent, Penn & Teller: Fool Us, Masters of Illusion, Hell’s Kitchen, and Wizard Wars, and has performed everywhere from Las Vegas and Hollywood’s legendary Magic Castle to stages around the world.
Funny, surprising, musical, and wonderfully weird, REDEFINING WONDER is the kind of show you’ll still be talking about on the drive home—and possibly arguing about how he pulled it off.
Magic? Yep. Live music? Yep. Your brain questioning everything it just witnessed? Very likely.

Chris Funk is coming to Talkeetna Alaska and will perform live at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. Doors open at 6:30 show starts at 7:00

“There’s a wildness and beauty to Chris Funk’s daft and funny presence that I and audiences… find irresistible”

Alex Zerbe the Zaniac – October 1, 2025

When was the last time you laughed as hard as your kids?

With captivating amounts of energy, Alex Zerbe moves like a rubber band from one end of the stage to the other. Beatboxing, juggling, dancing, singing, music and magic are just a few of the things that led Piers Morgan of America’s Got Talent to call Alex, “The total package.” The two-time Guinness World Record holder performs his 60-minute show at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar on October 1 at 7:00pm.

The “Professional Zaniac,” whoʼs been cracking jokes onstage for almost 15 years, zigzags between physical stunts and non-stop comedy. During the show vegetables are sliced in half by flying playing cards, flaming torches and bowling balls are juggled with ease and every audience volunteer leaves the stage in triumph.

A self-described “human cartoon,” his show isnʼt only for the kids in the family. “I try to make my show like the movie Shrek, super entertaining for the kids but there’s a whole other level of comedy for teens and adults.” says Zerbe.

Formerly of the award-winning duo Brothers from Different Mothers, Zerbe is a Hacky Sack World Champion, was voted The Pacific Northwest’s Funniest Prop Comic and is currently ranked Seattle’s 3rd Best Air Guitarist. Heʼs performed everywhere from cruise ships and comedy clubs to prime-time television in three countries, including “Americaʼs Got Talent!” and “Last Comic Standing.”

“The answer to your unquenched entertainment needs.”

Bon Débarras unites the worlds of music, dance and poetry through a collaboration between Montreal artists Dominic Desrochers, Jean-François Dumas and Véronique Plasse. Over the years, Bon Débarras moved boldly into an entirely original repertoire steeped in poetry and rhythmic sounds, with unambiguous Quebec flavors. On guitar, banjo, violin and harmonica, the group carries an identity, a style and an energy-filled zest for life quite unique and beautifully served by the versatility of the musicians as well as their daring jigging and vivid body percussion.
