DENALI ARTS COUNCIL IS HIRING STEAM PROGRAM INTERNS. This is a paid position with an Education Award in partnership and funded by AmeriCorp.

We are on the lookout for two creative and driven individuals, ages 17 and up, to be part of our team this summer! These roles will involve supporting our current summer programs and camps, as well as developing and executing new summer initiatives!  This opportunity is ideal for a teenager aiming to enhance their college resume or a retiree that has the time to dedicate to their community.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position entails various responsibilities. This individual will provide assistance to camp instructors as required. Additionally, they will maintain facility hours at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar during public access times. During this period, they will engage knowledgeably with the public, providing information about Denali Arts Council, the Hangar, and our mission. Additionally, they will handle admission ticket sales and facilitate the presentation of short films. Moreover, they will be responsible for developing and leading a weekly STEAM project for children in the community.
